I'm currently using generative AI to automate content strategy for a client's blog. To streamline their content creation process, I developed an automation scenario in Make.com that integrates several tools: Semrush, Google Sheets, OpenAI, Google Docs, and Ghost.
The workflow starts when my client updates a Google Sheet with initial content ideas and target keywords. Semrush then retrieves organic search position data, guiding strategic content decisions. Perplexity AI generates a detailed research report based on this information. GPT-3 uses the report to produce a comprehensive, SEO-optimized blog post.
The content automatically saves to a Google Doc for client review and approval. Once approved, the post is drafted directly in Ghost, ready for publication. Finally, the original Google Sheet automatically updates to reflect the completion of the content creation task.
This automation simplifies content planning, helping create relevant, search-optimized drafts consistently. Then I can go in and further edit, add backlinks and photos, and ensure accuracy before publishing.
Once the blog is published, I use a different scenario in Make.com to automate the creation of visual assets and social media content, which is shared automatically on the company's channels.
